LS ELECTRIC Secures $92 Million Power Supply Contract for U.S. AI Data Center
LS ELECTRIC announced that it has signed a $91.9 million (₩1.329 trillion) contract to supply power solutions for a hyper-scale AI data center in the United States, marking a major step forward in its global market expansion.
Under the agreement, LS ELECTRIC will provide high- and low-voltage power distribution boards and transformers for a data center currently under construction in Tennessee, with project completion scheduled for April 2026. The facility will house server rooms dedicated to AI machine learning operations.
The client, a leading North American AI big-tech company, had previously awarded LS ELECTRIC power equipment supply contracts totaling $21.5 million (₩310 billion) at the end of 2024 and early 2025. This new deal reinforces the strong partnership between the two companies and reflects continued trust in LS ELECTRIC’s proven technical capabilities.
A company spokesperson stated,
“This contract is meaningful as it represents our first comprehensive supply of power equipment—from low voltage to high voltage—for a hyper-scale data center in the U.S., the global hub of AI investment.”
LS ELECTRIC added that several North American clients are inquiring about long-term power supply agreements, amid growing concerns over power shortages driven by the rapid expansion of AI data centers. The company expects this trend to accelerate growth in the regional power distribution market.
