Atlanta Electricals Wins Big Transformer Order from GETCO in India
Atlanta Electricals, one of India’s leading transformer manufacturers, has secured a major supply order worth approximately USD 35.6 million (₹297.71 crore) from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO), according to regulatory filings on 26 November 2025.
The contract includes 25 transformers: twenty-one 220/66 kV 160 MVA units, three 66/11.55 kV 20 MVA units, and one 220/132 kV 150 MVA auto transformer. These assets will support GETCO’s ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen Gujarat’s transmission network.
This order adds to the company’s growing pipeline. As of 30 September 2025, Atlanta Electricals reported an unexecuted order book of approximately USD 247 million (₹2,069 crore), supported by an annual manufacturing capacity of 63,060 MVA across five facilities.
Commenting on the development, Niral Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Atlanta Electricals, said the contract reaffirms the company’s commitment to quality and reliability.
Financially, the company continues to show strong momentum. For Q2 FY26, it reported revenue of about USD 38 million (₹317 crore), up 17.4% year-on-year, and a net profit of around USD 3.6 million (₹30 crore), up 11.1%. Key metrics include an ROE of 40.8%, ROCE of 50.2%, and a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.46.
